Privacy Policy

Parr Investments, Inc. owns and manages apartment communities in Winston-Salem, Clemmons and Kernersville, North Carolina. This policy explains what happens to information when you use this website. It does not cover what happens when you apply for a home, sign a lease or live in one of our communities: those are governed by your application and lease documents and by the notices the leasing office gives you.

The short version

• This website does not ask you to create an account, and it does not sell, rent or trade anyone’s information.
• Our own visitor statistics are collected without cookies and without anything that identifies you.
• With your permission we use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used. You can say no, and you can change your mind at any time on the cookie policy page.
• When you write to us — by email, or through one of the site’s forms — your message goes to the leasing office so that we can reply to you. We use it for nothing else unless you ask us to, for example by ticking the box for email updates.

What we collect and why

How the site is used. Every visit records a small number of events: the page viewed, which community it was about, and whether a visitor clicked Schedule a tour, Apply now, a phone number or an email address, played a video tour, looked at the floor plans or sent a message. Each event carries a random identifier that exists only while the browser tab is open, the type of device (phone, tablet or computer), the name of the site you came from (never the full address) and, where present, the campaign tags on the link you followed. We use this to understand which communities and pages people are interested in and which parts of the site are working. We do not record your IP address, your browser’s identity string, your name or anything you type. Individual events are kept for 90 days; daily totals are kept after that. This is stored with our database provider, Supabase, in the United States.

Hosting and performance. The site is hosted by Vercel in the United States. Like every web host, Vercel receives the technical details of each request, including your IP address, in order to serve the page. We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which count visits and measure how quickly pages load without using cookies; Vercel describes what it collects in its own privacy documentation.

Session recordings and heat maps (only with your consent). If you accept optional cookies, Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used — where people scroll, click and pause — and shows us heat maps and anonymized playbacks. Clarity masks what is typed into any field by default, and our forms are masked entirely. Clarity sets cookies on your browser and handles information under Microsoft’s privacy statement, which also says how long Microsoft keeps it. Clarity does not run unless you have accepted it, and it never runs if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.

Messages you send. You can write to us by email or call any leasing office. The site also has forms for writing to us:

• Contact us, on each leasing community’s page, asks for your first and last name, email address, phone number, the date you hope to move in, the number of bedrooms you are looking for, how many people will live in the home, how you would like us to reply, and an optional message. It also has a box you can tick to ask for email updates from Parr Investments. It is never ticked for you.
• Request service, on each community’s Residents page, asks for your first and last name, email address, phone number, apartment number, how urgent the request is and a description of the problem.
• The contact page may also show a message form, which asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, the community you are interested in and your message.

The box at the top of this page says which of these forms are on the site today and how each one delivers messages. A message is sent by our email provider, Resend, straight to that community’s leasing office; or your own email program opens with the message ready to send; or the message is passed to us by a form-delivery service. Resend is in the United States, handles a message only to deliver it, and keeps a record of it for a limited time under its own terms. However a message travels, it reaches the office by email and is kept in our email system so that we can reply, for as long as we are dealing with your inquiry or any tenancy that follows from it. We use these details only to reply to you, or, for a service request, to do the work. We will not add you to a marketing list or send you marketing texts unless you have asked us to, for example by ticking the email-updates box, and you can withdraw that at any time by telling the office.

Offers. If we are running a leasing special, a card may appear on a community’s page. It stores nothing in your browser.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we have not done so in the past twelve months.
• We do not use advertising cookies, and we show no advertising.
• We do not track you across other websites.
• We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. This site is for adults looking for a home. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Other companies you may reach from this site

Several buttons take you to other companies’ websites, each with its own privacy policy: scheduling a tour (Calendly), applying for a home (Blue Moon), directions to a community (Google Maps), job applications (Indeed), the resident portal, and our social media pages. Video tours play through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player, which sets no cookies until you press play; once you do, Google’s privacy policy applies to the playback. We suggest reading those policies before you use those services.

Your choices

• Cookies. Accept or decline optional cookies on the banner the first time you visit, and change that choice at any time on the cookie policy page. Declining does not affect anything else on the site.
• Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as declining optional cookies, without asking you.
• Your messages. You can ask what we hold about you from your inquiries, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email the office and we will reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some information where the law requires it or where it relates to a tenancy.
• Residents of other states. Parr Investments does business in North Carolina. If you live in a state whose privacy law gives you additional rights, you can exercise them by writing to the same address, and we will respond as that law requires.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection. Visitor statistics are held in an access-controlled database that only authorized staff can reach, and the site holds no passwords or payment details for visitors. If a security incident affected your personal information, we would tell you as North Carolina’s Identity Theft Protection Act and any other applicable law require.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site works, this policy changes with it. The date at the top is the date it was last updated.
